Licensed Life & Health Insurance Professional

Financial Educator

Why I do this

My journey into financial education began with my own life. I'm Megha Sharma — a wife and mother of three, blessed with a healthy, happy family. Like many families, my husband and I had our share of learning moments around financial independence, protection, and long-term planning, and over time we came to understand how much the right guidance matters — around wills and trusts, life insurance, retirement, and managing what you've built.

As I talked with friends and other families, I kept hearing the same questions — and noticing how rarely anyone had been given clear education or support. That realization inspired me to deepen my own knowledge, earn my licenses, and dedicate myself to helping families understand these concepts before life forces them to learn the hard way.

That's what WealthChem is: a place where the education is free, the explanations are plain, and nobody is rushed toward anything. Think of it as a formula anyone can learn — a few simple elements, combined in the right order, that add up over time.

Credentials & Licenses

Licenses

  • California Life Insurance License
  • California Accident & Health Insurance License

Certifications

  • AHIP Certification
  • California Long-Term Care (LTC) Certification
  • Annuity Suitability Training

Plain talk about my role

Titles get fuzzy in this industry. Here's exactly what mine means — and what it doesn't.

What I am

  • A licensed life and health insurance professional (California)
  • A financial educator — I teach the concepts schools never did
  • An independent associate of Hegemon Group International (HGI)

What I am not

  • Not a financial advisor or registered investment adviser
  • Not an attorney
  • Not a CPA or tax professional

— and I'll tell you when a question belongs with one.

How WealthChem fits into the bigger picture

WealthChem is my own independent business, operated as a brand of Trellova LLC — the education, the writing, and the conversations all happen here. WealthChem, a brand of Trellova LLC, is an independent associate of Hegemon Group International (HGI), a marketing organization representing multiple licensed insurance carriers.

HGI is not an insurance company and has no products of its own. Any product a family chooses is issued by a well-known, licensed American insurance carrier and is subject to that carrier's underwriting and approval.

Because independent associates aren't tied to a single carrier, families can compare options from multiple established American insurers — and the education stays free either way.

How products actually work at WealthChemA four-step flow: your family receives education and licensed guidance from WealthChem, which is an independent associate of the HGI network, which provides access to products from multiple licensed American carriers. HGI is a marketing organization and issues no products of its own; every policy is issued by a licensed carrier, and guarantees rest on that carrier's claims-paying ability.education &licensed guidanceindependentassociate ofaccess toproducts fromYour familyWealthChemHGI networkLicensed Americancarriersmultiple carriersHGI is a marketing organization —it issues NO products of its own.Every policy is issued by alicensed carrier; guaranteesrest on that carrier'sclaims-paying ability.

Three promises you can hold us to

  • Education before any recommendation

You'll understand the concept first — what it is, what it costs, and what the trade-offs are. A recommendation only ever comes after that, and only if you ask for one.

  • Plain English, always

If an explanation needs jargon to sound right, it isn't a good explanation yet. Every idea here gets translated into words an eighth grader could follow.

  • We'll refer you out when it's not our lane

Legal questions belong with attorneys. Tax questions belong with tax professionals. When your question lives outside an insurance license, we say so — and point you to the right pro.

Have a money question you've been sitting on?

Ask it. The answer is free, in plain English, and yours to keep either way.
